I swear to god. Does nothing work properly on this game? This is BOS and this skank Torres won't sell me MF Cells? I killed the Van Grafs who were reliable sellers of MF cells. 500 at a time. I completed tend to your business and still in the dark, and got further access to the quartermaster's items...supposedly. My ass. It's a good thing I'm allied with NCR, but what if I wasn't? I'd never have enough MF cells, since most stores sell very little amounts of them. Any ideas how to fix this? Now that I think about it, the same thing happened to me when I first played the game when it came out. They seriously still haven't fixed her buggy inventory refresh? Unbelievable.

Well you can get free EW ammo from hidden valley.

I've never had torres sell me EW ammo, I figured that was just how it was meant to be? :S

That's [r-e-t-a-r-d-e-d]. All she sells is regular "gun" ammo, and absolutely no energy weapon ammo besides flame fuel. This can't be right.

She won't refresh her inventory a good amount of the time, which is probably why you're getting screwed. svcks, I know, and I can't believe they haven't fixed it, but it is what it is.

Thank god for the free EW ammo, I suppose.

I can understand why Torres wouldn't sell you EW ammo at first (the Brotherhood has none to spare, and they're not giving it away to random strangers) but after you become a member she should sell you a ton of EW ammo.

If only they'd fix her inventory refresh so I can actually mod her to do this...

9 months and it's still not fixed... I've lost all hope for any future games that Obsidian releases. I will expect them be barely playable with crashing every 5 minutes and pretty much every quest bugged so it can't be completed just as it happened when NV was just released. Pirating is looking much better by the moment. Ban me if you wish, that's why there's proxy's. Just had to get it out of my system. I'm not paying for games anymore that I know will have astronomical amounts bugs that won't be fixed in 2 years.

I think it is the other way round that Knight Torres is the only one NOT suffer from the menu refresh bug, thus makes you feel she is bugged to not renew but in fact she is working properly.

FYI you don't need to be allies with the NCR to get access to the Armory master. Wear an NCR engineering suit to Hoover Dam if your enemies with them, he will still sell to you. Just make sure you pass that speech check to sell to you or complete the Crocker missions to get access BEFORE you declare war on the NCR.

Yeah, she's bugged. Her inventory won't refresh, and additionally the better equipment you're supposed to get when you're friends with the BoS doesn't work either. But, mods to the rescue!

Unfortunately, even mods don't seem to be able to fix it sometimes.





Uh, say what? I'm pretty sure she is suffering from it, seeing as she still has items I sold her weeks ago and never restocks on power armor or EW weapons and ammo.

Those guys always have a fair amount of EW ammo.

You can force any vendor to restock by sleeping or waited for 3 days in their immediately area. Sleeping for 3 days in hidden valley will force knight Torres to restock

Unfortunately, it will not; she is bugged.

We get free ammo from them anyway, and quit avoiding the autocensor.

It's more so the fact that she won't sell you any of the high-end weaponry or armor that you should have access to that bothers me, rather than the ammo.

She sells me ammo and all sorts of amazing guns like the AMR, Gauss Rifle, Tri-Beam, GMGs, Miniguns, and other amazing things.

She doesn't sell me any of that stuff, because she isn't refreshing.

Hopefully the new patch fixes her It's very annoying and the main reason I don't use energy weapons untill they code the "use empty energy rifle as a club" perk I'll stick to 5mm and 308

OP you said you are allied with the NCR, well go to Hoover Dam and see Quartermaster Bardon. He has many types of ammo including EW ammo, and usually has a 1.000+ rounds for just about all ammo he stocks. As far as I know he isn't bugged and will refresh, at least he does on my game.

Does not work for some. I've waited a month in game and Alexander, the other arms merchant at the 188, Torres, and Brisco will not update and still have the crap I sold them a month ago. The dude (forget his name) at the Crimson Caravan Company has completley dissapeared and has yet to show back up.

Blake at Crimson Caravan has disappeared on me in the past. I found him in one of the barracks, along with half a dozen other CC people, all huddled in a corner. As soon as I went in, they all headed for the door. Maybe that's what happened in your game.
