Loading is EXTREMELY fast now?

Post » Fri Jun 01, 2012 4:59 pm

anyone else getting this?

I averaged 5-6 seconds when fast traveling and entering interiors prior to patch 1.6, which has now been reduced literally to around 1-2 seconds.

My load times have been the same, at least AFAIK (3-4 seconds).

The patch did do some more optimizations so that may be it.

hmm, it might not be noticeable to people who were already averaging exceedingly low loading times.

though mine weren't particularly long, they are now exceptionally short (no chance to see the loading tips anymore  ).

This may be the first time I've ever seen someone complain about fast loading times... But the loading screens are good.

it wasn't intended to be a complaint. if anything, I'm pleasantly impressed by the patch.

My load times are 30 seconds to a min nearly every time I enter / leave a building. Shaving off a few seconds will not be noticed.

It's great isn't it? I remember FNV and with my same hardware, it took over 20 minutes to load the game and with all their ctd's too.

Downloaded the beta patch this morning. My load times are nothing if not longer. Should have stuck with 1.5 and kept steam disabled.
