Local (Offline) 2 player co-op - Is it possible?

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 6:29 am

Hey guys. Brand new here and brand new to this sort of game. Wanna help an old guy out?

Just bought Rage for XBox yesterday because I was specifically looking for an action game that supported offline play for two people at once. The box says that Rage is such a game.

However, when I go to the Multi-player section, no matter what I attempt to do, the game insists on logging in to XBox Live. I can do that, but I don't want to have to if it isn't necessary.

Any ideas what I'm missing?

Thanks in advance for all the help!

The PC version also says you need to be connected online and be logged in to Steam to play multi/co-op.
I guess you'll have to do with split-screen.

Fun fact: The PC manual lists split-screen as a game option, even though it's not present in the PC version.
