Since we're all happy house hunters (Some with more or less forceful evictions) let's share good houses we've found in the wastes.

Some criteria to be met:
Safe storage
Bed
Water supply
Somewhat accessible (Not too far from a map marker)
Not an "official" house

So... GO! *Gunshot*

I room with Easy Pete for now. Sure, he snores a bit, but he lets me have the master bedroom!

Not completely sure if this qualifies for an official house but here it is. Since we are in a spoiler section this should not be an issue I hope.

You can get a permanent hotel room with most of what you would need in Novac.

If you run through the quest for Boone choosing the right person and take care of the ghoul problem at Repconn you will be liked at Novac and Cliff will give you a key to the locked hotel room.

I really enjoy the motel room in Novac. Completes Boone's quest first to get it for free, or just pay 100 caps.

I am only a few hours in, but so far I enjoy the Nevada Highway Patrol office, north of Mojave Checkpoint. It has water, bed, and several "storage" desks to use.

BTW i split all my gear into 3 containers. Guns in one Ammo and Misc. in two others and i have had no problem with losing gear...just pop a buffout and drink some whiskey and move it all when i feel like changing the scenery. or sell it. or forget about it lol.

I've got the Motel Room in Novac
A Suite in the Lucky 38
And a Suite in the Tops.

I utilize none of them. Between ED-E and Cass, I carry everything with me.

I either stored stuff in the save in the abandon garage or in a grave in the graveyard. You can either rent a room in novice or finish the quest there to get a place to stay.
