So are all mobs affected by this now, or is it just certain mobs? Is everyone who downloaded the patch experiencing the same thing?

I have come up against essential Ferocious Guard Dogs and an unkillable Deathclaw.

Great job with the new patch, Obsidian!

I think i might have a partial if not ridiculous solution

make sure you quick save before EVERY kill , if the monster goes unkillable, then re-load,

it might work ill see.

I think this patch was only released for PC. There's a bigger patch coming for all platforms in a few weeks.

Correct. This is PC only.

We're already have folks looking into the issues reported with with enemies being unkillable (unless they're dismembered). We're working on a fix to release asap!

I keep running into enemies who take no damage at all. No matter how much I hit them their health doesnt go down in the slightest. This has been happening for a while though and isnt since the latest patch.

This has happened to me on several occasions. Ill get close to killing them but the last 2 bars never go away. I hit one with a mini nuke (~tgm) standing right next to it and it still doesn't die. after about 5 mins or so of trying every kind of gun i had he finally died. but i had to keep shooting him to kill him. But this has happened since the game came out. The patch also said it fixed the control lock out when you have the trail carbine, relaoding while crouched. I can say it diddnt get fixed.

"vids or it diddnt happen"

come on, is it really that hard to believe?

why would this "essential NPC" thing even need to be touched to fix the other problems?

That's what happens with softare. You fix something and then something that on the surface appears to be completely unrelated breaks. I worked as a software tester a few years back and I'd think everything would be working quite well only to discover that once actual users began using it in the wild that they'd find all sorts of things that me and the programmers (who were the other testers. this was a very small company by the way) didn't because we don't think like users think.

Hi, GStaff!

Haven't talked to you since, oh... FO3 :vaultboy:

Glad to know they're working on the problem. Meantime could they post the affected Base_ID s of the creatures (it doesn't seem to be all of them)

I was able to get rid of a Feral Ghoul Reaver by disabling him, but that didn't work on a Radscorp (which is why I'm here)

It's a lot easier to test something when you have a very large userbase to test stuff for you than it is when you've got five programmers in a basemant somewhere. They probably didn't extensively test this patch, just tested things they thought they were changing as they went through it, then released it when they had everything right and hoped it didn't break anything important. Unfortunately, it did, but they're working on a fix now. Hopefully it'll be out soon (and hopefully they'll fix the other bug this patch introduced, the archive invalidation.bsa file being included in the .bsa list crashing the game on load, though I doubt it).

Glad I read up on patches before running the game with them. I won't even bother launching the game till this is fixed.

Just downloaded the latest patch through Steam and I also have the unconscious problem when shooting enemies. Not absolutely every time as some rare times they do die, dut it's happened to ghouls, robobrains and nightkin so far and only since the last patch

Absolutely Epic. It's top notch that Bethesda/Oblivion is letting tech support e-mails go unanswered for weeks, but to introduce these kinds of problems on top of it is amateur hour.

Justttttt great. Ran into an unkillable cazador. Of ALLLLLLL freaking monsters you have to give me an unkillable cazador. Hell you could have made my life easier and give me an unkillable deathclaw so i can use it for sniper practice but noooo the only monster I can't snipe, I can't run from, and more deadly than Deathclaws when they come in groups.

It's unbelievable how buggy this game is, with or without patches. LIke literally unbelievable, how can a game that runs on the same engine as Oblivion and FO3 be so FREAKING buggy?? HOW?? Bunch of rank amateurs made this game, that's how, that's the only logical explanation.
