I am doing a Robin Hood build and only using a Longbow (any arrows are acceptable to me). Just wondering how effective the longbow can be? I play on master and I am not using enchanting (no skyrim mage class skills), but alchemy (poisons/fortify smithing) and smithing will be maxed in this build. Along with maxing archery and deadly aim perk. I hope I don't have to give in to lowering difficulty level. I will get frokis bow when i come across it, will help a tad. Another bit of info is I am very fragile, only wear leather/hide armor on feet and hands. Green clothes on body and hood on head. Archery enchanted hands will be used when I come across them. So will a longbow be able to be effective enough to compete later in game?
