A mechanical keyboard is clearly defined as a keyboard using mechanical switches. Please don't confuse people by redefining commonly used terms. For instance, the Corsair K90 is a hybrid mechanical keyboard as it has a few keys using rubber dome (specifically all the keys at the very top and Macro keys), while all the others are mechanical. Still I'd like to get this keyboard for myself.
Thanks! Seriously. That is the info I was pressing for. I was wondering, but didn't know. Passive Agressivness at its finest.

I was wondering about that. I still have some old IBM (pre PS/2?? connectors) in storage somewhere. I have always preferred the responsivness of the mechanical keyboards. I'm interested in what the OP decides on and hopefully post impressions.
@The Nanny: If you have the option, I recommend you go to your local retailers that have display keyboards and get a feel for them. When I first started shopping for a modern keyboard many years ago, I hated the soft/quiet key nonmechanical boards and feel. What helped me decide on the G15 a couple years ago was reviews, being able to feel one at the store/Best Buy and the display panel. I'm also a fan of Logitech products.
Ahh... I miss the clickity click of my old IBM keyboards... and trying not to loose the springs when I did a thourough cleaning.
