Looking for someone to work with

Post » Mon Jun 18, 2012 7:06 am

I'm looking for someone to work with in the creation kit since it isn't that fun when you do it by yourself, and since none of my friends have skyrim for the PC. I'm 16 and I have plenty of experience as a free lance graphic designer and am well acquainted with programs like illustrator and photoshop. I also have a intuos 4 wacom graphics tablet so I could also create art to use as well. I am new to the creation kit but am a fast learner as this kind of stuff interests me. If you're interested (and hopefully in/near my age group) in working with me post here and I can pm you. I'm friendly too

Edit:
I guess I'm looking for someone that wants to learn how to use this software at a steady and fun pace. It's boring when you try to do it by yourself. So I'm not looking for someone to work on a particular project but rather just to get familiar with creation kit and then possibly work with me to make future projects as well. So we'd build our way up starting with basic things such as making awesome levels and etc. If that makes sense

I'd be up for some sort of a project, 18 here. Reason I love working with other people: There's a damn good chance you know something they don't, and there's a damn good chance they know something you don't.

Forgot to mention: I mostly focus on quests

Sixteen here, as well!
I'm kind of a newb when it comes to programming, but I'm willing to learn and have learned a lot
I can also record dialogue and write quests, if needed.

Not a bad idea. @wauga: I'd recommend editing that information out of your post, now that Hakkari has it.

Also, I just wanted to say that I'm happy to see a thread like this that's actually focused on having fun with others, instead of just a recruitment drive for a project the OP couldn't complete on their own. I wish you guys the best of luck.

Why not creating some Skype chat room for Skyrim modders, nothing big, just a place where people chat, share experiences, wip ideas, help each other and stuff? We have a bunch of these for Morrowind modders, and I see no reason against friendly conversations among Skyrim modders too. :)

This Steam Group already exists, and has a significant userbase. It might be what you're looking for - http://steamcommunity.com/groups/SkyrimCKPublic

Now you say you are experienced with graphic design. You wouldn't happen to be able to do any kind of concept art/drawing type things, could you?

I'm a good artist, but I'm not extremely creative. I mainly do "commercial" stuff like logos, banners, business cards, etc. But I do paint and draw irl, and I am starting to paint in photoshop.

I'm aware of that, for some reason it won't open for me.

I'm very interested in working with you. I'm currently working on a vampire overhaul mod. I'm an artist myself but I don't have all the training with programs that you do. I would be very interested to work with someone to help me create custom art for my mod. Sent me a PM if you're interested.

Hmmm, alright. I was looking for someone to do some concept drawings. Mainly just to make into cool wallpapers or stuff to go along with the mod. (So kind of like you drawing an area or person from the mod) If you would be interested in doing some stuff let me know. If not, no problem. :)

Well to be honest, I have no clue what I want to do. I was thinking about starting with something simple, like a level and work myself up from there. And what exactly are concept drawings
