Lost follower!

Somehow during the quest 'The Man Who Cried Wolf' I lost my follower Marcurio, anyone know where he came from so that I can go back there? I can't remember...

I, too, "lost" Marcurio -- and never found him, dead or alive.

He (like Lydia) seemed somewhat prone to getting lost (unlike Vorstag who has stayed the course for a long time).

And since i made the mistake of "marrying" Marcurio, I have never been able to marry anyone else, even though Marcurio is clearly dead and
never shows up in the Riften Inn. He ran a useful store for a short while -- and that was it. Though the game seems to regard him as alive somewhere
and won't grant me a divorce.

Yeah my situation svcks too... He showed up back at the Bee and Barb, but everything he was carrying is gone and I'm supposed to re-hire him. Which I doubt I'll do because what, just lose all my stuff again?

I had Lydia before and took Marcurio because he has powerful magic, and for both of them the fast travel worked. For some reason when I parted ways with Lydia she went and is living in my house in whiterun, don't really know why. Anyway Marcurio just vanished and then I went back to Riften and it's as if I never hired him, items gone, I gotta pay $500 to hire him, etc. I don't know what happened. :-(

She's living in Breezehome because she's first the housecarl gifted you by Balgruuf when you become thane.
