was in dead wind cave and ed was knocked out in a heap of death claws. so was lilly but she got up, waited for ed but he didnt show back up. the world map showes him right on the cavern icon( he is not on the local map inside) but he isnt there and doesent find me either. i have shut the game off telepoted all over. he didnt go back to the lucky 38 and rex wont join me even though ed-e is seemingly gone. and ideas? thanx

You could try loading a previous save if you're desperate. He might show up later on, but I would load back.

Go to the cave, and look up. He might be up there.

You can try the Vault 22 trick, if it still works. Go to Vault 22 and take the elevator, he should show up. You have to repair the elevator first.

I don't care if I lose ED-E anymore, since I fixed him and got his weapons "upgraded" he only floats around and beep-boops.
