playing on a PS3 i have been looking for louis for quite awhile and cannot find him anywhere I have looked in Riften, Whiterun, and all around the lodge he is nowhere to be found, has anyone else had this problem? it seems like he just dissapeared from Skyrim..

Odd. Most people are suffering from too MANY Louis's. I came across 4 of them in front of Whiterun but I'm sure there are more.

Are you done with the quest ?

UESP has this :

After the quest is complete, you may encounter Letrush randomly running through the wilderness. He will be stopped by an http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Orc named "Thug" and he will strike down Letrush in one hit with the words: "http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Maven_Black-Briar sends her regards, Letrush." If you manage to save Letrush from the thug, he will accuse you of ratting him out to Maven and attack you.

I have not seen this. I also suffer from too many "Louis Letrush" fooling around near Whiterun stables.

There is a Louis Letrush convention in Whiterun and the impersonators are gathering outside Whiterun stables.

I have 3 there at the momment, one of them is up to his waist in the ground, cant interact with any of them.

He should be in the bee & barb. If you haven't started the quest to get Frost.

I was walking down a hill in the reach and he spawned out of nowhere and continued to try kill me with an iron dagger, afterwards I fast travelled to whiterun and there was still like 6 of them..

Only one so far in my game, but only half of him is above ground level in the Whiterun stables. It seems he is still riding Frost, so I can only imagine how horrible it must be for the poor animal...

woot! i have 7 outside whiterun. one of them constantly goes hostile and the other 6 (and anyone else outside whiterun at the moment) proceed to give the hostile one a beat down into submission. the hostile one rests, gets back up and the whole scene repeats itself over and over and over and over....you get the idea. LOL

at least he's essential (un-killable) so sooner or later you should find him. you are looking in the right places.

Once you steal Frost, Louis is usually Northwest of Black Briar manor in the woods waiting for you. After you complete it you'll find at least half a Lois outside Whiterun stables with more full versions to follow.

Mine always greets me when I walk by. lol

This time around I will keep Frost and hopefully kill that creep Louis! I always have multiple versions of him standing around the Whiterun Stables LOL

I FUS RO DAH the Louis Triplets on one of my toons and they go nuts. Trying to attack you with a dagger, then I lead them to a guard, who shoots them full of arrows. Then they cower and shout "Enough, I submit", once they regain some health, it's on again hahahahaha

Since your question has pretty much been answered (stables/NE of Lodge/wandering aroud wilderness) I'll offer my experience with Louis: I have 2.5 of them outside Whiterun stables. :mellow:

...then I lead them to a guard, who shoots them full of arrows. Then they cower and shout "Enough, I submit", once they regain some health, it's on again hahahahaha

I like it!

I'm gonna' have to try this - I'll probaby have to wear my "Fine Clothes" and "Fine Boots" because my distress won't seem convincing if I run up to the guards in full Daedric being chased by someone who looks like a pedophile. :lol:

LMAO!!!!!!!!!! Yea and I guess they are more convinced of your distress by being poked with an Iron Dagger in the "Fine Clothes". Hey, at least my Fus Ro Dah, freed the Louis who was stuck in the ground hahahahaha

Yeah, if you hit him or anything, he will get unstuck. But when you return, there will be another one and the 1st one will be stuck again. So I just leave him alone. I did this quest a while back and I still only have 1 and a half of him. I think the duplicating comes from trying to kill him. If you beat him to submission, there will be another there to when you come back.
I gave him Frost and let him leave with him. I don't ever use horses anyway.
But I just leave him alone and he doesn't seem to multiply. Only the one time I hit him and got the other Louis.
He was even there during the battle of Whiterun. lol
