No love for PS3 players?

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 11:13 am

If you guys play PS3, then you know what I'm talking about. Xbox 360 gets Kinect, PC gets mods, and what does PS3 get? Game crashing bugs, flying backwards Parthurnax, constantly talking VILKAS, and the new additon to the glitch family, the "you cannot fast travel when guards are pursuing you" when THERE'S NO ONE THERE glitch. Will there EVER be love for PS3? After more than 6 months of Skyrim being out, I'm not sure. But the game still is the best game on PS3. :)

Well, no. Microsoft owns the world, and thats why they get Kinect and early dlc. Pc players get mods because its not posssible to do mods on the consoles.

If you truly are a PS3 player, you should be used to getting shunned by now.

I have accepted my fate, that is why I am in the process of ordering a gaming computer.

Be careful, though...once you try mods, there's no coming back... :P

Bought SK for my laptop so I could use mods, have to play on low settings so it's not the prettiest (I have a PS3 too and a copy of SK) for reasons like these, got fed up of the game crashing everytime I went under water (did they ever fix that by the way?)

Good on you mate. Re-purchasing it on the system that will give you what you want (and even willing to take a graphics hit to do so) is certainly a more timely manner to which you can have your fun, rather than waiting on the game to be fixed on the PS3 and complaining ad nauseum on the forums. I applaud your take charge attitude.

Yes, they fixed the water crash bug, you have to delete the game update and let it redownload. Thread about it stickied in the PS3 forums.

It IS possible, it's just Microsoft and Sony don't allow it.
