Love the game.

Man, talk about Debbie downers, geez. All anyone does is complain on here. Is anyone enjoying the game as much as I am? The first ten threads are complaints on this main page. I don't know about any bugs. Don't know about a save bug, don't care that I can't put an extended mag on a stupid weathered pistol, am not seeing any other issues. I hope I don't see them. Going to go play some more, loving this game!

See, they seem so negative because everyone here decided the game was awful and stopped playing it. Now they're here to try to ruin (Maybe? I'm not sure what the complaining is going to accomplish) Bethesda and Obsidian by slandering their names.

I personally took a break after spending a bunch of caps at the strip to grab a bite to eat. As I frowned looking upon these boards, this thread was the light that showed me the path....Straight back to New Vegas for me!

I think, most people who play this game probably do not even go onto the forums. Perhaps many who are on here on the forums do so because they have a problem they want resolved. If you have no problem with the game, then you might not have any reason to make a thread, you know. No matter how overwhelming the complaints about a game on its forums, or any other, may be, it in no way reflects the majority. If you were to count every complaining poster who makes or replies to a thread on these forums, it probably would be a tiny, tiny fraction of the total sales so far.

I've been loving the game. I've only been playing for maybe like, 5 hours, but the only minor glitch i've come across is sometime's my characters arms and gun will move up the screen slightly if i'm at a weird angle, and even that's only for a second. I don't know about the save glitches or whatever, mines been fine and i never crashed either. Game runs perfectly.

I'm playing the game on the 360, I've crashed three times and encountered a few glitches, but I'm enjoying the game too much to let them get to me and anyway I expected glitches and bugs, many games these days have them at release, some never even get patched at all.

Most just want to complain for attention instead of being patient. As nice as it would have been for the game to be released without a single glitch and issue, it's just not likely to happen. Maybe if a certain 'new' shooter wasn't coming out next month then the game might have gotten a little more time for polishing.

If I didn't need to sleep in a bit I would still be playing New Vegas, very fun.

All The negative posters should go create a I Hate Fallout New Vegas Site and create thier own forums instead of using threads on this site and taking up spots on the main page for people who actually like the game can get thier questions answered and have general discussions about the game without people complaining about anything and everything.

It'd be much appreciated by me and many others.

Thanks.

I am loving it. So far I am 15 hours in, with my roommate at about 10. We have only had one crash on the 360 luckily. We are both thoroughly enjoying the different paths we have taken and watching each other is a true joy. The balance of factions is awesome especially when you see it from both sides. I definitely like this landscape better than Fallout 3, it feels much more like a western. The number of people you can talk too seems to be WAY more than in fallout 3, I remember lamenting the lack of factions in Fallout 3 (when compared to Oblivion). Now, I feel like the landscape has way more human life and I like that.

My game has crashed 2 or 3 times, but so has every other game I have ever played. There has to be some reason for this "save" bug people are talking about. That is the only one that concerns me as I have already invested nearly 20 hours. I play on a 360 (hardcoe mode) and never, ever fast-travel under any circumstances. I wonder if that has anything to do with it. It seems as though (I could be mistaken) that most of these "bugs" are occurring on the PC. Is that the consensus?

Loving it. No unexpected problems aside from the gamebryo glitches ive come to expect.(and dare i say love...flying deathclaws anyone lol) All in all this game is great. Great story and REALLY good voice acting...so far no character has made me cringe or want to turn the sound down. Except Mr. New Vegas sorry to say Wayne Newton sounds like a drunk ghoul. Got the same arm glitch and some clipping issues but that crap has been happening since morrowwind VERY happy i have this game.

That said i do think the forums are such buzz kills are that yea there are folks having issues and i guess they do have a right to complain...the rest of us who have no real issues are busy having fun and only pop on from time to time i suppose.

So, unofficial 'I love New Vegas' thread. Cool.

I love the iron-sights. I'm surprised by how well they were implemented and how there's an option to do away with them. I think it's cool to look down the sights of a 9mm, so I find myself using pistols quite often. A few of the iron-sights I try to stay away from, but for the most part, they're effective. I think the ones that aren't give the game a good feel.

I am unsure how peoples frustration with bugs and glitches makes them haters :S I am also completely baffled as to how this in anyway shape or form can harm someone elses experience :S

There are a few good threads. People want everything to be perfect. Its only been 2 days of course there is going to be bugs. I have been playing for 12 hours and I've only seen maybe 3 bugs tops. And none of them affect the game. Im glad they used the same engine, Fallout 3 was amazing and using the same engine was the best idea since sliced bread. There are always going to be haters no matter what. The only reason some reviews were so bad was because they didnt want to believe that another company could come back and make a great game. With the small time frame the devs had they made an amazing game and people can say whatever they want the game is definitely GOTY.

Its kind of tough to enjoy your experience on the forums when 90% of the threads are about people [censored]ing about their game.

Meh, I left my complaints in the Hardware issues threads. And even then I was only trying to stick up for all the people who were unhappy. I haven't even gotten my copy in the mail yet so I have nothing bad to say really. Looks like tomorrow I'll be joining you all in the enjoyment. :)

Well I've been playing it for a couple of hours now (had to wait for it cos I'm in the UK), and so far I am absolutely loving it. I haven't run into any showstopping bugs so far, just a couple of the usual engine glitches which having played Oblivion & FO3 for years I realise are par for the course and barely register. I honestly don't know what all the negativity is about.

It seems to happen with just about every game. It launches and the hate on the boards goes up exponentially. Yes, there are some bugs and some have a lot worse than others (all should voice their issues, but within reason and in the proper location), but I cannot remember a 100% completely and totally bug free (for EVERY system it was on) launch in the last few years, but a lot of people expect it. Then there is the people who want every game to have a totally new engine and be a revolutionary game, followed lastly by the people who just hate/troll.

I myself tend to check in here frequently when I don't have a chance to play, when I do I really enjoy NV. I like it much more than FO3 as of now. The factions really made me happy.

There's games I stop playing because I'm finished, and then there's games I stop playing because I've been playing so long I can't read the HUD anymore.

NV is in the latter category, along with every other good game I've ever played.

Am loving everything about this fantastic rpg. Been playing alot without a single crash since picking up FALLOUT: NEW VEGAS on release day. Framerates are very fast with no slow down and everything is quite playable with no game stopping bugs. The new graphics are wonderful and enhance the mood of the western landscape while still having that universal sand box feel to it where you can be anyone you want to be and live the game anyway you want.

Creature and faction ai is realistic with all living things appearing as if they have individual personalities. Some are wimpy and run away from a fight or not even engage in combat while others will fight to the death. Some go hostile right away while others seem of the friendly variety eventhough the same species can still acttack you. Theres also younger versions of animals which adds to the variety and realism. Wasteland is very alive with all sorts of wildlife.

Crafting is very easy to get into and has no confusing mysterious air about it. The same goes for food recipies and medicines. hardcoe mode is great and follows that same quality of keeping it simple while having layers of depth. Keeping track of ones hunger, thirst and sleep needs has never been simpler.

Weapon combat is much more realistic with enemies taking damage in a much realistic brutal manner which is enhanced with the camera which zooms in suddenly when a fatality occurs on the enemy. Strangely it always seems to jolt me with a shock as if i was the one just killed. Nice trauma effect ha ha.

Love the iron sights which seem to make targeting and hitting enemies easier. Am also finding combat out of VATS much more exciting and hardly use vats mode unless am trying to save an npc being acttacked by a mob.

Atmosphere is very viscious and captures a no holds barred western mood. I found myself horrified and angry as i saw a certain faction gun down a defenseless woman i had just saved from a mob of acttacking geckos. It wont be easy negotiating with this faction without me wanting to get some payback :D

Music is stunning and takes me to a place of emotional euphoria especially on my Audio Technica ATH-AD700 headphones. I seriously doubt i'll be putting any outside music into FALLOUT: NEW VEGAS. Radio stations are great at easing the loneliness of being out in the range and the station with Tabitha is quiet funny to say the least.

So i definitely love FALLOUT: NEW VEGAS and am more then happy to have said thank you to OBSIDIAN and BETHESDA with my wallet.

Generally just after release the forums are visited by mostly folks who are having a problem with the game. They actually serve a purpose in assisting to find problems with the game so developers can duplicate them and thus fix them. It's ok to complain if your game isn't working properly.

That said, we don'g allow threads to complain about complainers.
