Lucky 38?

Post » Wed Mar 30, 2011 12:53 pm

Ok, so I have finally gone to the strip after 79hrs play time and reaching level 30.

Just had a talk with Mr House, but what the hell is going on! The casino is completely empty, not a living sole in there! Just robots, I was able to strip the place bare without issue? Is Lucky 38 meant to be empty?

I have been looking forward to getting to a buzzing, lively place. Apparently not. :D

The Courier is the first person to enter the Lucky 38 in years.

Edit: [censored] typos.

Well the Lucky 38 is Mr House's personal area and as such is not open to the general strip populace.

Yes it is meant to be empty. If you talked to certain NPC's BEFORE the Lucky 38 opened up for you, you would've learned that it has been sealed up for YEARS.

...but wouldn't it be cool if the devs made a DLC or someone released a mod where you could get it back open for business? :disguise:

They are all right, The Lucky 38 has been sealed up for over two hundred years, if you decide to side with Mr. House he slowly gives you background history around the Strip and his empire over time.

I use the whole bottom level for storage. The old cashier's office is my armory and the bar is stocked with a huge amount of alcohol and 50+ of the special Nuka Colas.
