Lydia, being helpful?

Post » Fri Jun 08, 2012 7:05 am

Well it seems that when's she's not eating bread she's actually helping. I knocked over the pot and plate underneth the weapon plaque upstairs at breezehome. I just left them there because I wasn't in the mood to put them back. After a couple of missions I come back and they are put back where they should be. Finally she does something for me.

Lies. Lydia is the epitome of useless and unhelpful. She complains when I have her do anything, plays musical chairs with herself in my room, and she caused the bread shortage of '97.

Lydia once pulled an epic lifesaving archer moment for me.

Like everyone else, I had run ahead and left Lydia to wander through the bandit fort trying to catch up. Unfortunately, that meant taking on a bandit chief alone, when they were still serious trouble. After a furious fight we both found ourselves one swing from Sovngarde, and he moved into an attack. Out of nowhere, he flies into the wall next to me with an arrow in the middle of his nose. I turned to find Lydia standing their smirking at me.

True Story too :P

Pretty much why I said finally. I could be because I brought her along for a certain daedra quest.. After I died and had to reload and brought the girl from the inn at whiterun it happened. She knows what time it is
edit: the save I reloaded was after I knocked things over.

That sounds epic...I can just imagine the battle music playing and then an arrow straight to the face. Then you turn around and see that lydia saved you

I hate going into a dungeon with her because as soon as you're inside and move out, she goes "ow," like you stepped on her or something. For me, she does that at least 90% of the time sigh.

And, "I'm sworn to carry your burdens."

Today we walked out off a cave, and she goes, "Look, a cave, wonder what's inside?" I should have gone back inside and told her to wait there.

Lydia saved me once or twice.
Unfortunately she died in an attack at Kynspire,
:unsure2: May she rest in piece.
She swore herself to help me the best she could.

Its probably just the house resetting not Lydia......don't give her that much credit.

I leave her alone there now......she does as an above poster mentioned.....just plays single player musical chairs. Im assuming she makes bread in between or restricts her self to 2 bites per day on the same stale piece for the last 3 weeks. I was hoping to commit her but theres no asylum made yet........CK comes out soon so im sure I can build her one, and any others I wish to 'disappear'.
