Lydia Dissapears?

Post » Tue Jun 19, 2012 11:48 am

a long time ago i beat the quest to earn lydia as a partner, when i got here i never talked to her when she was standing at the door. I just realized she had never followed me throughout any of my quests or anything. i bought the house in whiterun to see if she was there and i guess not,

If anyone knows a console command or where she is please tell me.

Thanks

You got rid of Lydia? Congratulations. She gets on my nerves. 1st playthrough I felt bad that she got killed by the ice troll on the way to High Hrothgar, 3rd playthrough I'm contemplating killing her and trapping her soul to be put on display forever and ever. I wonder if she is what I call a "quest corpse". A character who can die but whose body never disappears. If she is, I can leave her corpse and her soul on display forever.

How does she get on your nerves? She's a great tank IF you give her good armor and some good weapons. And she's a great pack mule.

If you use the console command, would you mind to tell us where she was?

I don't like followers, and she annoys me in my house. She makes herself at home in my room constantly getting on and off the chair, moving my stuff, telling me to stop moving my own stuff, etc. I want to visit Dive Rock and use Unrelenting Force on her.

On topic, she may still be in Dragonsreach. She was there on my profiles until I talked to her after buying Breezehome.

How does she get on your nerves?

She's annoying, she has no back story, she repeats the same dialogue over and over again, she whines a lot, she won't use the [censored] Daedric bow I made for her... the list goes on and on.

If you never told her to follow you, then she has probably wandered up the stairs in Dragonreach and is hanging out by the wizard's side room.

Myself, I got her killed a long time ago (not on purpose). I have Jordis the Hand-Maiden watching my house in Solitude, and I partnered with Mjoll for a while. Being an assassin, I prefer to work alone - dont need some numbskull setting off traps and getting him/herself killed.

I use Lydia constantly, She is a useful asset but at times her repetitive dialogue pisses me off. I was trying to sneak past two giants early on in the game then she decided to go fight them all on her own at this point my girlfriend came in the door as i was shouting "Get back here chlamydia"...

alright the command started working once i entered whiterun, but for some reason it brought me to the Valtheim towers, after scouting the area for about 10 minutes i realized she was not there, i also looked all over dragonsreach and i was still unable to find her

I love Lydia and get very upset when I don't feel her behind me.

I like Lydia, she's sassy. "I am sworn to carry your burdens."

Edit: I returned to my home in Whiterun after getting married to find it empty, neither Lydia nor my husband Onmund were there. I ran around Whiterun and Dragonsreach and couldn't find them. I returned home, slept for ten hours, and both of them were there when I woke up.

Kill them both. They're obviously having an affair.

Osmund and my Breton mage are gay married, so somehow I doubt it.
