I have my PS3 controller synced to my Mac can Rage on Mac utilize a controller?

I have my PS3 controller synced to my Mac can Rage on Mac utilize a controller?

According to aspyr website, RAGE on Mac is compatible with a wired xbox 360 controller or window xbox controller. Any other have not been tested.

The PS3 controller is a dinput device. You will need software to use it with Rage which requires an xinput device. In windows this is pretty easy but I have no idea what there is for Macs.

Thanks I can research what the diff between xinput vs dinput but info is solid A+
