Madden 12

Just picked up Madden 12. Seems great so far, but the rosters are wicked messed up.... Donovan McNabb still on Washington... Derek Anderson starting for Arizona... etc...

Unless I'm wrong, it would appear that the only way to update the roster is to sign up for an XBOX gold account... Am I wrong here? It seems like a rather strange thing to require Gold for, so maybe I'm just missing something... .Or is EA just working with Microsoft to drive up the subscription demand?

Thoughts?

You might be able to find the correct rosters online, download them to a flash drive and upload them to the game from that. My friend did that with NCAA for a couple years (instead of buying a new game every year).

Pretty sure you get a free month of Xbox Live Gold with every gamertag you make, and the rosters aren't going to be locked to your gamertag. So sign up and get to downloading, no money necessary.
