Hey, I remember in Oblivion there was some sort of magic rating, where wearing armor lowered the efficiency or power of your magic. Is this same mechanic still in skyrim? Is there any reason for a mage to choose clothing over armor? If not, looks like it's time to deck my mage out in ebony armor

Wearing armor has no effect on your magic rating, in Skyrim.
