Main quests. Do they get longer and more in depth?

I just finished alduins wall, it took less than 20 minutes, I'm loving this game and I'm 133 hours in, so I've started on the MQ and so far the quests are majorly short. I've heard there are 19 quests in the MQ, and I've done over half now, do they get longer and more involved?

Longer dungeons? Yes. Longer dialogs + more invovled characters? No. Just kill the dragon and enjoy the sights, there isn't much praise to be sung at the end of the MQ.

Well um not really. IMO the best part of the Main Quest was at Helga after that it just plain svcked. I cared more about picking flowers and bugs then some uber dragon that sits on a mountain drinking tea and crumpets but wanting to rule the world - again.

So if your looking for longer quests and more involvement, load up Oblivion. :P

No. The final stage (as in you can't turn back til you finish it) isn't terrible but it ends abruptly and was thoroughly unsatisfying.

Keep your expectations nice and low and you might not get a bad taste in your mouth.

I had hope that after years of making these games the MQ could be a little better and interesting but whoever they have writing them is just...bad.

"Elder Knowledge" ought to take you much longer than 20 minutes and will hopefully make you say, "Whoah".

If it doesn't, then that's your own problem.
