Request from a CK challenged old man. I would like to be able to move a house intact from one area to another. Say one from outside of Riften to the other side of the mountains to near Whiterun/Riverwood. Hopefully I could just "copy" the entire house and then "paste" it into the new area. Is this possible? I haven't been able to find anything saying yes or no. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated. If it isn't possible then just tell me to try and learn the CK. If it is kindly point me in the right direction.

Copy/paste, just try it.

yes you can... you select the items you want to copy in the render window (in this case the entire house), hit Ctrl + D to copy the entire house, then 'cut' the copy of the house (move it off the existing house first) and then change the cell view to the world space you want to copy it to... place it where you want... you'll have some hand editing with the terrain most likely for the ground/house to line up.

that's the quick & dirty explanation. I'd recommend giving it a go with a single or a couple smaller items first to get used to copy/cut/paste between world spaces.

thanks for the response. Missed the Ctrl-D on the wiki. At me age is believable. Is there a map showing the world locations? I remember them from oblivion.
