[HELP?!] Make a NPC give you something

Post » Tue Jun 19, 2012 12:36 pm

So I am creating a quest, and I want my custom Actor to give the player 10 red apples and 5 venison
How can I do this? I hope this is possible via Papyrus.

If you follow the basic quest tutorial on the wiki, it'll show you how.

It doesn't. Tell me, where is a script to make a NPC add an item to your inventory by talking to it?

Make him walk up to the player, initiate dialog, and then give him the item... like a courier does all the time in game.

What's the problem?

I originally came back with a snarky comment. But what I should have said was "Please read the following:"

Try watching these tutorials. They demonstrate how to do some pretty cool things with character scripting. Including what you are wanting to do.
