Making money useful

Have you noticed how end up having huge amount of gold? Have you ever wondered that?

Bethesda has always had this problem creating a proper use for money. The only real reasons to use money are houses, training and the achievement.

So I suggest the following:

1. Stores have usefull stuff. Why alchemy stores never store River betty or human flesh? I need those and I'm filling to pay. Why can't stores sell deadric arrows on lvl 1? Just make them expensive but not too expensive and in large enough quantities (ie 100 steel arrows, 50 orc, 10 deadric).

2. Unique stuff for stores. Remember how in oblivion stores had custom items for sale but they were usually expensive (and when you got money to buy them they were crap). So why can't solitude fletcher have some awesome bow with some unique enchantment that you can't replicate via enchanting. Different shop might have different unique items (alchemist store some super potion or poison, smiths might have armor or swords).

3. More training. Not everyone wants to level alteration to get max level so WHY the frigging training limit is 5 per level? I use mod that allows me to train 20 times per level. The cost alone keeps me from power leveling too much.

4. Stores could provide services. Smiths could improve your armor, priests could provide some long term blessing etc.

Maybe I haven't power-gamed enough, but I feel like money is relatively well balanced. My main is 50 and always has about 40k gold. I've earned about 160k total last time I checked, the majority of which went to training smithing and enchating. I haven't bought proudspire yet or anything. I don't really get what people are doing to have 600k gold unless they are simply 300 hours in.

Smithing and/or enchanting.

Smith daggers, later on Dwarven bows.

Enchant with banish.

Enchant any armor with fortify sneak.

Smithing and/or enchanting.

So why don't you just drop them on the ground in front of guards and have the most awesomely armed soldiers on on Nirn (or pay thousands in fines for littering)? Karma will love you for it the next time a dragon shows up. You can just let them deal with it while you swim in your money pool.

I wish I ended up with a lot of money! All of my characters tend to be broke before long, and it's a constant struggle for money for the whole game ...

I'm level 27 and I have 20k gold. No enchanting, and no upgrading weps before selling. No alchemy either.

I never sell anything, and currently on 300,000-ish its ridiculous, I just use most of it on training now but I'm something like 400 hours in.

I would definitely like to see a system where money is useful and balanced later in the game as it is in the early game. I do think there should be ways to earn extra money, but there should be more stuff to spend it on.

I think a lot of it happens to do with playstyle. I recently had made a good-girl paladin who didn't murder anyone or steal, didn't even soultrap anyone, and I had WAY less money then with my thief/assassin. Especially early on.
