For example, the basic setup is that the PC meets a guy in the Vikki and Vance who is rebuilding the hotel. But, he cannot continue as long as the convicts are around, and Primm has no sheriff. So he sends the PC into the hotel to retrieve the blueprints for the hotel and (presumably) clear out the convicts. (Actually clearing out the convicts is not required, but getting the blueprints IS.)
Next, for work to resume on the hotel the PC must restore law and order to Primm by completing the “My kind of town” quest in any of the various manners available. Failing that quest would make my quest unavailable as it's successful completion is what triggers the next part of my rebuilding quest. (It can be triggered by the console of course.)
From there, there are a couple of basic fetch quests to various locations getting needed stuff for each stage of the rebuild.
Another quest I'm considering linking to mine is the “Classic Inspiration” quest for Michael Angelo. Part of my quest involves procuring some custom artwork for the casino, and I thought it would be a great idea to tie it in to him since he is the closest thing to an artist in the Mojave. So completing his little quest would then make the artwork I have available to the PC.
Obviously, my quests wouldn't be too friendly to someone who is a ruthless butcher and just kills everyone they see or whatever. But as many folks say, I want your actions to have consequences all the way around. And I realize that my setup wouldn't be too friendly to someone who already completed those quests, but as I said, this mod has a NEW player in mind, not really an established one. Of course, if you haven't done either of the quests I'm talking about, even a level 30 character could still do my quests.
