I have a collection of items that I would like to set up so that a vanilla merchant (in this particular case, Lucan in Riverwood) will sell them. I have found that if I place a single item in the same cell, and set the ownership to the correct services faction, the merchant will sell that item. However, there are too many items to hand-place each individually, so I created a new container to hold them. But if I place that container in the cell and set the ownership of the container to the services faction, the items do not appear for sale. This method worked in Oblivion, but doesn't appear to work in Skyrim. I don't want to modify either the merchant or the vanilla merchant container, as this would cause compatibility issues. So how do I do it?
