It'd be even better if you had the Nord Woad spell, but alas it's gone :P

If you want a warrior you should ditch the magic skills completely, though I am not all too familiar with the "Woads".

Both types of armor and weapons could fit so if you want a "Woad" I suggest you take a closer look at the armor and weapons used at their time. Both 2-handed and 1-weapons have been common throughout the ages so I guess it would be a matter of preference.

Well if you were to follow the contemporary Roman commentaries rather that all the modern popular culture your woad warrior would fight completely naked with no armor at all. Would concentrate on single hand and archery although there were two handed so take your choice.

Light armor would be best, something like hide or scaled armor. Whether you are using two handed or one handed, Axes are an excellent choice as historically they were far more common than swords. Also Archery would be a good choice, stealth to if you want to go for the hit and run tactics they used on the romans. Finally a bit of alchemy would be a nice touch to, though best for archery.
