Mannequin activation trouble!

Post » Tue Jun 19, 2012 12:38 am

i followed the LouisAT444's Tutorials about mannequin but when i get in my cell with the coc console command there is no `Active mannequin` option, instead its 'talk' and it does totally nothing. i've set the mannequin link ref to the xmarker and the active parent to the created mannequin activate trigger and setting the primative, the x marker link ref is to the mannequin itself.... so what have i done wrong? thx for the help

There is a page in the wiki on how to rig mannequins. Worked for me.

this is the proper way to do it:

in addition to that tutorial, your mannequin will be more stable if you rotate the activation trigger by an offset of something random like 94 degrees (do not use square angle values like 0, 90 180 etc) in relation to your mannequin's orientation on the z axis.

Does changing the name of the mannequin can be a problem? or naming the trigger or the xmarker ?

I had so many issues setting up multiple mannequins until I did this, now I get none

I'm just going to put this here: When I try to give my mannequins an enabled parent, in this case it's the Breezehome Decorate Loft Xmarker, they do not appear. In fact, they crash the game at load. Without that setting, they work just fine (except for sometimes being initially animated, which is super creepy).
