Okay, so we can have up to I think sixteen characters. I am curious about a few thIngs. For one, if you level up one, do all level up?? Wot it get confusing with so many characters and why so many? Will it help

Yup as everyone said, its 10 character max. But to answer your other question, the XP you earn only goes toward the character that you are using. I think that this was implemented for the person like me that gets to level 50 in COD, then immediately prestiges because he hates having everything. Though the official reason is that they didn't have enough time to implement it.

EDIT: Ninja'd. Man I need to increase my WPM.

Okay... Makes sense. Since u have ten characters and two sides per char. It's not like oh in this character his resistance is lvl 3 and security is 4, right? Leveli a char. Levels up both sides?

Wraith is more of a, Viper. A Wasp. Or a Hawk.
Or maybe even a Panther.

Edit: But he's definitely a Wraith.

Impudent chicken... Haha... Anyway yes there are 10 characters and they limited it from 16 to 10 because they needed to slim down some features to have a May release.

I forgot to mention, that the ability to have several different characters allows you to make different characters for either RP purposes or simply for different competitive styles of play.

Because nobody said it yet but happily joined the spamfest instead:

The characters in BRINK are basicly a mix of classes like in Battlefield and Team Fortress and weapon layouts in Call of Duty.
Each character allows you to play a different ability- and weapon-setup (each character can have multiple predefined weapon-loadouts which can be changed at command posts).

Unlike in other games, you can not change your character in a match, but like in other games you can change the class and weapon-loadout.
