Hi!

I was playing around with my daedric sword one day and my wife got in the way and I killed her. I am on an Xbox 360 and I can't seem to find anyway to re-marry someone, I've gotten a new Amulet Of Mara and it still doesn't work. Even after doing the quests for their trust it still doesn't work. Please help me.

It seems that the whole marriage thing wasen't that thought out well, I had this problem back when i was playing and i just gave up on it, i tried various things and searched for quite a while online in my spare time and nothing worked. As far as i know you can't RE MARRY on consoles. unless a patch WAS/IS released.

It's impossible to re-marry without using the console on PC. If you're on 360 or PS3, then it's just plain impossible. Sorry.

if every guard from here to Atmora knows you're the newest member of the Companions (so you what? Fetch the mead?) they'd probably hear about you murdering your wife, so I don't think people will be lining up around the block to marry you after your wife's "accident."

Mara takes marriage seriously, even if you don't.

I recently made a character who was going to be a as close to a normal farmer/everday person as possible by marrying Temba Wide Arms and working at the lumber mill.
After finding out she SLEEPS AT THE INN and said inn cannot become a suitable storage place, I was going to join the Companions and have a little accident involving a werewolf attack, wash my hands of the whole thing and re-marry.

Now I get to re-roll my character (and i REALLY liked the way he looked too)
He's level 13 now.

You abandoned your character because you messed up your marriage choice? You sir, have commitment issues. I don't believe you are ready for marriage. Maybe get a gold fish or a potted plant instead.

Potted plant, I dont think so! Maybe a temogochi or something easy that his mom can take care of when hes gone to creche

It just tend to RP pretty hard.
It bothers me to have all my characters look and feel the same, so I go out of my way to distinguish them as much as you can within a game like this.

This specific character is a native nord, lived in Skyrim his whole life, and proudly supports the Stormcloaks and Ulfrics cause.
Was going to have hm own a small farm or mill or inn or something of that nature and just try to live his life without the empire butting in.

It wasn't that I married the wrong person.
It's that I can't re-marry without re-rolling the character.

"The Bonds of Matrimony" is a Temple quest. None of the Temple quests are repeatable.
