marry Aela during companions quests... question(s) ;-)

Post » Fri Jun 01, 2012 1:36 pm

Hello, my question is if you marry Aela during questing at the companions will it infect anything? like will I loose quests from Aela? atm I have done the totem pieces with Aela. Now she only gives me only quests like killing animals in houses. Is there a moment she will stop giving quests? and what about if she moves with me into a other house? will she still be able giving companion quests? anywaze I hope someone can answer my questions

It shouldn't do, I don't think. Most people you can marry are not affected by the change - Ysolda, for example, still runs her shop even though she never leaves the house, and can be interacted with as a merchant. So it should be fine.

When she marries and moves in with you, following the required quests to get the option, she will still give you her other quests, just make sure she is not following you when you want to get/turn them in, as the quest options aren't there when she's in follower mode (including waiting). If she's sent home you can pick it up, alternatively, if you don't want to wait for her to get home, send her home, quickly talk to her again as she starts to walk away, pick up the quests, then ask her to follow you again.

thanks :-) also if you cure yourself from being a werewolf during the companion quests. Does this in any way infect the quests from the companions as well? First play I runned into a bug with farkas ( or something like that) I cured myselfs right after skjor's spirit has been cured. He somehow bugged atm when he wanted to be cured as well. I restarted and done all the quests again this time I didnt cure myselfs and I had no problem with farkas anymore, so when is a good time to cure yourselfs

I always cure myself after i cure Kodlak.

i have never encountered a problem with any quests.

i have just not been lucky enough to get anything but animal extermination quests yet.

yeah its better to cure right after you've done the quest and not wait cos after that I couldnt cure myselfs anymore. Happened twice! The only difference is when I was a werewolf I received from Aela the totem quests and now Ive only been working on animal extermination quests. But it might be random dunno ;-) Thanks all for responding again!
