Post » Sat Jun 09, 2012 6:13 am

my friend told me recently that she got Skyrim and she is going to play okay about a few hours later she texts me and asked me "who should i marry" so i basically said this:

If your Character is the following:
Warrior Type
Mage Type
Working Type(At the mills or mines)
Adventurous Type
fighting Type
Religious type
Hunting Type
Merchant Type

Then You should marry that kinda of man or woman in Elder Scrolls Skyrim

My character would have to marry Alduin, because he too is trying to kill everyone and take their souls.

My character would marry a Thalmor then.... If Bethesda would ever release marriage dialog for their voices.

Wrong, she shouldn't, but she can. It's nice to RP playing 2 warriors charging around, but I see no reason why a warrior shouldn't take an archer or a mage to cover his back, or a merchant to sell the loot to, or any other combination.

I'm not sure I'd want to marry the person I adventure with. As an Argonian male, though, my (realistic) choices are limited to a single person anyhow...

( ~setrace is your friend if you want to marry a female bosmer / kahjiit female. Their voice & dialog may be off a bit, but probably not as bad as if you used ~sixchange. I've considered it for changing some wed-able nords / orcs into argonians. )

The only female Breton that can be married is quest locked. :sadvaultboy:
Spoiler
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Muiri. Dark Brotherhood. And because I don't play guilds that are the opposite of my build (mage), I can't play that quest.

So why does someone need to marry the same type of person as your character?

I've played 3 different characters (battlemaiden Nord, pure mage Altmer, thief Bosmer), and all have gotten married to guys that I just thought were good-looking.

Have I been doing it wrong all this time or something?

Uh... no? What does shoe size have to do with a relationship? Do you have to get them larger armour?

My Redguard Agent did Muiri's quest, and noted how she said "Take this ring, as a token of my affection" and "I'll never forget you". Once he found out about marriage, he took a chance and Muiri said yes. They're happily living in Riften not too far from the Orphanage kids who love the Dark Brotherhood. :P

That makes a lot of sense. We are dragonborn, so why dont we have a dragon marriage option? Beth really dropped the ball on this one.
