The Daedric Lord Armor set, which I uploaded can be found at the Nexus as the Daedric Lord Armor by Natterforme.

was uploaded to SW under the title Morrowind Armor for Skyrim.

I have specifically stated under my Liscense/Legal section that I do not which to see this material on the SW, as both McMuffian( the original creator of the Oblivion version of this mod) and I do not want it to be uploaded to Steam.

Repeated attempts to contact this individual have been met with removed comments almost immediately. SW is set up so that you can not contact a person directly without them being on the friends list. SW is also set up so that mod page authors can remove comments that they dont want to see or that they dont want others to see. I have reported the individual through the SW report line but it feels rather pointless. Original mod authors are not given enough ability to protect their material and the way SW is set up makes it even harder. I dont suppose that I can find any help on this one?

Yea, GStaff can take care of this quickfast. Unfortunately it sometimes feels like Steam Workshop is operating on auto-pilot with no moderation or oversight. One of the top 5 mods is a Dragon Age Origins Ogre mod that blatantly rips meshes and textures from another game, which is a big no. I never see anything like this fly on the Nexus (at least, not for days and days like on Workshop).

If worst comes to worst, and it doesn't come down, send valve a DMAC notice.

GStaff removed the page but the user uploaded the material again.

Hey

A lot of people, like me, love your mod. I would suggest a small request to the community to spam the jerk on SW.

He could possibly lose his steam account repeatedly doing it. At least, I'd hope so.

People are.. Well, there's those few bad eggs in the bunch. And man, they are some BAAAD eggs.

I dont want legitamite users to risk being banned because they spammed a user. I just the material taken down.

I don't know what is the problem exactly but if you wrote him a message it will remain "unsent" until he comes online and read it.

Anyway, that guy is going down. Just have patience. Sooner or later the file will be permanantly removed or he banned.

I've reported it on the SW as well, so it should be a matter of time. Sorry that it's been stolen, but if anything, try to take it as a compliment that you do good enough work that someone else wants to claim it.

Hope it doesn't dissuade you from doing more stuff in the feature, because I love the armor.

I solved the issue of the pm by sending through my messenger and not trying to pm through his profile page like I did the first time. Now that is taken care of I just have to wait for it to take its course.

It will certainly not dissuade me from modding. I expected this to happen eventually and now I know to just report the user and head here instead of wasting my time trying to persuade the offender to change.

EDIT. Yup, it has been taken down.

I am pretty sure that I have seen all of those armors on the Nexus already. I remember that the glass look alike was the same as one on the Nexus, though I had forgotten about the Ebony resourced bonemold retexture.
