I'm writing my term paper on the portrayal of the multiverse in works of fiction. So I'm looking for any type of fiction (movies, books, comics) that portrays the idea of the multiverse somehow, or even just fourth dimensional stuff.
So if you know of anything that features the multiverse theory, let me know! I would really appreciate it.
Although there is one thing I'm not looking for, TV series. I don't have the time to anolyze those.

The most recent one I have seen is Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths.
Pretty much everything written by Stephen King in some way, but most specifically the Dark Tower series. (that is, if the multiverse is what I think it is)
The visual novel YU-NO delves heavily into that sort of stuff. It's pretty well documented for being a work of fiction. (http://hardcoegaming101.net/yuno/yuno-letter.htm)
Fringe X-Files Buffy the Vampire Slayer Angel Slide Event Horizon Last Action Hero Pirates of the Caribbean
It probably shows up in every Marvel line at some point, but of these I'm sure: X-Men (comics) Spiderman (comics, video game) Dr Strange Hulk (comics) Fantastic Four (comics)
Kingdom Hearts
Princess Gwenevere and the Jewel Riders (a.k.a. Starla and the Jewel Riders) The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy Monsters, Inc. Alice in Wonderland The Nightmare Before Christmas
D&D? Planescape, as per Tinyhowie. There might be more on that in the franchise than just this. There probably is. Shadowrun? Depending on how you interpret stuff. World of Darkness Magic: The Gathering
The Wheel of Time The Chronicles of Narnia The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Un Lun Dun
Pretty much all folklore everywhere talks about fairies/faeries/fae coming from another dimension/world/place
There is an interesting bit in Excession by Iain Banks, not multiple universes, but separate older and younger universes from the same cosmic fireball. Also alternate universes, and a novel take on identities moving between them in his novel Transition.

Doctor Who The Dark Tower, by C. S. Lewis (probably the most thoughtful and interesting, yet unfinished fictional work on the idea of parallel timelines I've ever seen/read)
In literature, Heinlein had several novels that referred to the concept of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_as_Myth - i.e, parallel universes including all the ones created by authors and other artists.
