Meet Figgin.....

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 5:18 am

I am starting a new character tonight and will Chronicle his story throughout the game. Please follow my blog at http://figginchronicles.blogspot.com

My Character will follow these rules.
  • No Fast Travel. Only use carriages.
  • Sleep every night unless on an important mission but nothing like 5 days without sleep.
  • Eat at least 2-3 times a day, either from my personal inventory or at a tavern.
  • Restrict myself to a bow and 2 other weapons.
  • Haven't decided on loot capacity yet.
  • Focus on Stealth and Archery perks first before any others can be enhanced.
  • Join the DB and TG only until finished with both questlines.
  • Will only use Destruction an Restoration Magic, since that is what the Dunmer are known for.
  • No Smithing or Enchanting but will do Alchemy.
  • Only wear armour when needed. Otherwise will wear clothes.
  • Will get a job as well.
Looking forward to the Chronicles.

Kudos to you on your endeavor my fellow Dunmer.

Some notes.
-Restoration is not a very Dunmer practiced school of magic and neither are they known for it, but Destruction is something that fits that bill perfectly.
-Common Dunmer that lived in the Blightlands lived till they were 150-200 years old. On accounts of a book from in-game. That is probably because they were poor, non-magical and exposed to horrible conditions like the Blight though. Healthy Dunmer can live to be 300-400 years old and if they are Nobles maybe another 100 years. Like Barenziah who was not a mage of any real skill. Of course if they are good at magic then their lifespan gets extended much much longer. Like the Telvaani Mage lords and Divayth Fyr. This is what we know about the Dunmer lifespans to the best of our knowledge. Just an FYI.

Thanks for that insight. I know restoration is not a dunmer practiced magic but I'm going to need it. Only healing though not much else. As for the ages, I did read that but I killed my parents and grandparents off to keep the debate to a minimum. Hopefully, Figgin can live that long.

Question for you guys, something I did not think of. Should I write from a first or third person perspective?
