Like the description says, there are minor spoilers, but not to the plot.

At the Khan's camp, you are told to convince four people of their tribe, in order to get their help in the big battle.

The thing is, I've found all of these people, except one, and that's Melissa. She's displayed on the map, near Goodsprings, I traveled there, and it seems she (according to the map), is in the middle of infested Death Claw nest, with tons of DC's including a big mother, so I managed to survive more then 10 seconds, but the thing is, according to Wikia, she's not supposed to be there.

Are there any solutions to this glitch? It's rather gamebreaking for me not to be able to convince the Khans, I'm a Fallout 1 and 2 fan, and would love to have their help.

Any help or suggestion is appreciated.
