Memory Potions

Post » Sat Jun 23, 2012 10:53 pm

Hello.

I recently reinstalled Skyrim because I had gotten fed up of the Live Another Life's "Memory" potions.

I uninstalled using steam and completely deleted the Skyrim Folder (in the Steam directory) and also in my documents.

However, after completely reinstalling and booting up the game, I had save games from some time last year (which was weird) but also these potions were still present (even though I removed everything Skyrim from my PC)...

Has anyone got a fix for this?

Perhaps the potions are... not from Live Another Life? Did you consider that?

Nowhere in the documentation and nowhere in the entire mod is any mention of "Memory" potions made.

If you want to figure out which mod is causing this, remove your mods one by one until the issue goes away. That will tell you which mod is the culprit.

Doing a total uninstall is going way overboard, by the way. No need for that unless you have a catastrophic problem with the game.

Hmm...strange..

The only other mod I have that affects magick is "Improved Magicka System". Reading that, I've realised my mistake!

I installed them both at the same time, hence my confusion :S

Pardon me, but wouldn't it then be prudent to update your opening post so it doesn't have the potential to erroneously lend the impression LAL does something one needed to reinstall their game to get rid *of?

*Yes, It was a realize it was a preposition I'd ended the sentence with

Yes, please do. I was considering using LAL at some point and this thread made me really concerned about that for a minute.

Also, any grammarian worth their salt will tell you the rule is, "Do not end a sentence with a preposition if that preposition is unnecessary."

"Where are you at," is grammatically incorrect, "What did you get rid of," is not.
