MerchantFence with 10k Gold?

I keep seeing posts mentioning a merchant/fence with around 10,000 gold available.

Who? Where? I must know!

Which one? There are at least 4 in Riverwood. And since the perks only can add a total of 1500 together, if he has 10k after those, he should have 8500 before the perks, which is good enough.

Ive invested in river wood trader and it didnt work. But I got a bug once where I could repeatedly invest in the same shop.

Ive invested in river wood trader and it didnt work. But I got a bug once where I could repeatedly invest in the same shop.

Oh, I'm a tard. For some reason I read Riverwood as Riften.

So it's a bug then? Just allows me to continue investing gold in the one guy? I thought this was on the up and up! I'm a thief, not a cheater, damn it! :P

No, it only requires one investment.

Investing costs you 500 gold but inproves the merchants stock range and available funds (varies from merchant to merchant) considerably.

Orly? I thought it was like Oblivion where the 500 investment merely gave them an additional 500 gold.
