This Christmas has been completely dumbed-down, it's nowhere near as deep as Christmases of the past.
My Christmases have never been particularly 'deep', so ... huh?
This Christmas needs extensive modding even to be playable, it was developed for XBox 360 and, despite the snow effects, has some very ugly textures on the wrapping paper.
My Christmas wrapping paper was nice, but my Christmas didn't come with snow!
Although Santa brought me everything that I asked for I have since remembered this other thing without which THE WHOLE THING IS BROKEN.
I didn't get everything I asked for, but I'm mostly satisfied. The food's been good. Who can complain when the food's good?
The necessity of going to church and eating turkey has ruined any illusion of choice and destroyed my sense of immersion.
That's funny ... in my Christmas, I don't go to church and I don't eat turkey. What's going on here?! It's like we have a choice as to how we want our Christmas to be! What madness is this.
I no longer have any confidence in the developers of this Christmas and would like to say in advance that any pleasure I get from this Christmas is accidental and in no way compensates me for their total failure.
The developer of this Christmas, my sister, has been pretty cool about it all. I'd like to thank her wholeheartedly. I didn't expect much, so I was pleasantly surprised.
My next Christmas will be paper-based, using D20 dice.
I could be dead by next Christmas- any of us could be- so I'm enjoying this one while I have it to enjoy.
Hope Christmas lunch for those on the East of the Atlantic has been great! To those on the other side of the Atlantic- have fun opening your presents!
One of my friends got me a copy of Skyrim.

Nice gesture ... I appreciate the store credit.

Addendum: Also, since it's Christmas!- get the [censored] off this site and go enjoy RL!
