Nellis AFB is one place. Go to the building where you are instructed to destroy an ant hive. I think it is NE of the Nellis Hangers. Go inside and to the lower floor by using the metal stairs. There is an area there with two nukes and many boxes of firearm rounds, missiles and grenades.

You'd probably be able to buy them from the BoS after you get access to their greater wears (if possible), and as Polka said, at Nellis AFB in the generator room below the the sensor array. Anyway, uhhh, how could you think that a Fat Man (also one ofthe full size Nukes dropped on Japan) was an Energy Weapon? It tells you what kinds of weapons are included in a skill if you read it. Guns includes any weapon that uses conventional ammo (10mm, 9mm, 5.56, MG .50, ect...), Energy Weapons includes any weapon that doesn't use conventional ammo (EC Packs, MF Cells, Energy Cells, ect...), and Explosives is, well, anything that explodes (25mm Grenade, 40mm Granade, Frag, Plasma Grenade, ect...).

Where? I went through the 3 "empty" ones and didn't see any.

Camp searchlight has some but only if you didnt take wild wasteland. If you did you'll get something else

Camp searchlight has some but only if you didnt take wild wasteland. If you did you'll get something else

I thought the mini nukes were supposed to be there next to the Holy Hand-gernades. Not instead of the Holy Hand-gernades. Mmmmmm. So no mini nukes there then? They're replaced?

south east of camp searchlight is cottenwood creater with a fatman and 2 mini nukes. and a hand full of geckos.

I found one or two around the Boomers' place where you gotta kill the ants.. along with a ton of 5mm and .308 ammo.

I found Mini Nukes all over the place in Fallout 3, but in New Vegas, in my 60 or so hours, I've only found 1.

Yeah, im not real happy with the lack of mini nukes. I have 7 or 8 of them, but I think that is close to every one. If there isn't a merchant that sells them, I will not be happy. I loved roaming around Fallout 3 launching mini nukes everywhere. Good times.
