Was watching 3 20 min walkthroughs on youtube and the game looks just impressive even on a console. My nephew who showed me the video ordered the game right after it--he was on the fence until he saw the videos. I only saw bits and pieces so I wouldn't spoil my experience but i'm glad id has a winner on their hands. The Gaming Industry is better off with id software in the mix. Here's hoping RAGE does well and that Doom 4 isn't 3 Years out.

I have heard that Doom 4 will look much better than Rage...... I have seen both console versions and they both look amazing....minor pop in on the ps3 and the 360 seemed the it had lower res on the xbox that was my impression........ was the ps3 footage you saw still up on youtube? or was it the footage that was just taken down?

The footage was takened down. I didn't notice any pop-in but then again it's a youtube video. Yeah Doom 4 is targeting 30 hz instead of 60 so i'm sure there will be more graphic fidelity and most importantly more baddies at the same time ala the original Doom.
