Skyrim has already set a new record in my 25+ year, 500+ games history of computer gaming:

Longest time required to install a game.

1) Start installer
2) Install Steam
3) Update Steam
4) Activate my computer with steam
5) Activate game with steam
6) Start install Skyrim
7) Realize that I can't select the Skyrim installation folder. The driver where Steam is installed is not where I want it
8) Uninstall Steam
9) Re-install steam, this time not on the system drive
10) Update steam
11) Activate my computer with steam
12) Start install Skyrim
13) Install Skyrim
14) Update Skyrim
15) Install .net Framework
16) Get stuck
17) Manually download and install .net Framework 4.0
18) Re-start Skyrim
19) Install .net Framework (as I realsize, 3.5, not 4.0)
20) Get stuck
21) Manually download and install .net Framework 3.5
22) Still doesn't work!

This is NOT GOOD ENOUGH
I am close to trying to find a crack that *just* *simply* *allows* *me* *to* *play* *Skyrim*

I remember first installing steam and then moving my Steam folder off of the system drive and redoing the whole shebang. That was a hassle.
