I miss my mortar and pestle

I miss it too.

Luckily my boyfriend bought me a mortar and pestle for christmas after hearing me moan about it. He also bought me a Snuggie so I could woosh about the house pretending to be a mage.

Would a warrior be able to make anything in a full fledged alchemy lab besides bad smells and smoke?

Would a warrior need anything else besides a "bad smelling smoke"? :D

I like the lower strength potions idea. perhaps you also need to buy extra empty bottles and water too, in order to perform alchemy outdoors?

It helps if you jot down on a bit of paper the locations of outdoor alchemy stations you find. There are lots of them scattered about the place in various shacks and open-air towers and ruins.

Yeah thanks - I know it's fantasy. Your insight has really helped me though. Appreciated. :)

I miss it more than anything.... Especially since Skyrim is so vibrant and lush with Alchemy materials, I see no reason why they didn't include it, they added the tables which is great, why not keep the Mortar and Pestle for out in the field, I don't fast travel, so when I am way up in the mountains near the Thalmor Embassy, and honestly, when you are down by the shore on the North West side of the Embassy, you are a good way away from an Alchemy table, but hell, we Bosmers live and die for this S#!T :)
