a missed opportunity - no hockey : V

i have to admit i was a little dispointed with all the previews of skrim and non of them showed any sports being played - mostly no hockey. i feel this was a missed opportunty for bethesda (there porbably never going to return to a clod climate like skyrim) and we may never see a hockey-like game in a elder scorlls game. i wanna take a break from going into cave sand killing random monsters once and a while. it also would of gaven new loot - like new sticks and gloves, maybe even a new puck instead of "Oh look another sword or some poton of minor dispell". i hate to nickpick but it would of just made the game so much more unique. maybe someonewill mod it in the constuction kit but until than we have to deal with fraud howards leadership as head designer.

As much as i'm a hockey fan I don't see how the sport is relevant at all to TES... The sport wasn't even really invented until about 1880.

I know this is probably a troll thread but, hockey is probably my favourite thing in the world and yet if it were in Skyrim (or an TES game for that matter) it would probably ruin the game. I'm not really sure what you're getting at.

I was hoping that they'd include the sport Team Deathmatch, preferrably MW2 rules. But of course, they've let me down again.

im with you buddy and i understad that hockey wasnt invent until 1980 but skryim is supposed to be cultures and i would have liked to saw nords and barabaians playing a game of some sorts ressembling hockey. it would of added some much neede dculture to the game.

no hockey but mabye foot ball would be ace. as the screnshots show skyrim has alot of grass and if u really want a sport it would be a start but no knect no buy for me. gabrage

This thread reminds me of MMVI (or VII)- there was a game called Archomage that broke up the gameplay a bit. Random, yes... delicious, very much. A precursor to Caravan perhaps?
