Missing Weapon Roles

The possible loadout preferences for the RAGE weapon list is impressive. Almost everything is covered in some fashion and when looking at the balance of performance and power in a given role (i.e. killburst rounds in the pistol to give the player SMG functionality) then most forum participants observe the weapon list is not lopsided as to power and performance per role; besides, having a 'right' weapon for a circumstance/range means most others (but not all) will not do the job correctly.

What I perceive missing: and unscoped, semi-auto, silk trigger, medium/high side of medium damage rifle for medium ranged sniping. Thoughts?
