has anyone else had a mod that has caused massive lag in 1 spot only?

just in the area east of the river near Whiterun, around the ritual stone. it's the only place in the world i have this issue. but to my knowledge, aside from Apocalypse spells, none of my mods do anything in that area. (Apocalypse adds 2 npcs at the stone, already tried removing the mod, still had the lag) and i've had this problem for a while, so i know it's none of the new mods i've added.
