Mod cleaning & the cell (0, 0) bug

Post » Mon Jun 18, 2012 4:05 pm

I'm trying to clean my mod as best as possible, but the Tamriel exterior (0, 0) cell is marked as modified even after flagging it with "Ignore" and then adding a new object (interior cell entrance) to the worldspace. Conflict-wise, is this something to be worried about in the CK's current state?

I noticed that, too. I'm guessing that 0,0 acts as a parent of some kind to all the other cells of the worldspace, so it gets inserted whenever you change the outdoors. As long as you don't see any references added to cell 0,0, it shouldn't create a conflict, but then again, that's just my hunch based on my naive trust of the CK :P

I think that 0,0 acts as the container for persistent refs.; as this isn't a discrete setting anymore referring to something as ie a script property may make it persistent and cause it to appear there.

So this isn't something to worry about? It's just that I've added a map marker at (-9, -16) in my mod, yet it is listed as being added to (0, 0). When I check in the render window the marker is where it should be.
