mod packagingfileupload problem

Post » Wed Jun 20, 2012 10:17 am

I put together a mod with a dungeon, house, a new npc and accompanying quest. The npc has dialogue with voice acting. I tried to email my buddy the .esp file thinking that was all I needed, but when he tried it my npc didn't have any dialogue, just the usual grunts and whatnot. The dungeon is there, and the house is there, just that my npc wont give the dialogue options, so the quest cant be started... So I am thinking I need some additional files, I just don't know how to go about this...

I am really new at this stuff so keep that i mind when you send me stuff.. Thank you

please help.

did you pack all of the voice files as well?

data\sound\voice\yourEspName

your friend would have to unpack the folder with the exact same file path, so it's best to create these folders in the the correct path order so that all he has to do is drag it into his skyrim folder

i think so. quest dialog is dependent on voice type data, and if that data is missing so is the dialogue

also, if you have quest fragments or scripts saved, you need to add them as well

data\scripts
