Post » Sat May 26, 2012 5:35 pm

Could someone make a mod based on this lore and make the armor? or have someone else do that part? this would be an amazing project for someone.
Heres the Lore Link.

Look at that plastic coating on the armor! lol. I loved the mod that removed the ugly glow of enchanted stuff in Morrowind.

This would be a nice armor set, especially if it included some rusted, ancient looking textures, to give the feeling that it was extremely old. Even though it'd probably be useless, if that was the case... It'd still look cool :P
(and i could make a Vampire with an awesome story, straight from the time of Morrowind :D )

I'd love this, and the original Indoril Armor. I know the Andoran Mod already has Indoril Armor in the game, but I haven't seen a standalone set released yet.

Indoril is my alltime favorite set. Someone made it for Oblivion. I'd love to get it again.

i fail to see why everyone keeps ignoring the fact that all mer have a huge life span. most of the advlt ones probably were alive and well during the time of nerevarine. in fact, if there were any surviving hands after almalexia's fall and all the crap that happened during/after the oblivion crisis (and those guys were, like, TOUGH, so there should be at least a few), they'd still probably have their armour as a badge of honor and a priceless keepsake. and it probably wouldn't be rusty, and they probably wouldn't be vampires, just (maybe) elderly. do them a huge favour (like, do a quest that somehow invokes the Tribunal's old glory), and you might get it as a reward. there are a few dark elven families outside windhelm (there's even a farm belonging to a family named Hlaalu!!!!!), so one of those could possibly have an elderly grandpa who once served the living queen-goddess, and could tell a few stories from the olden days.

tangentially related, did anyone else cry a bit after reading the note on pride of tell vos that says that it's basically the last will and testament of the last, heirless, telvanni?

I would love to see Indoril and the Bonemold armors make an appearance in a mod.

I'd like to see this too. The Indoril and Hands armours were amazing.
When we're onto it, I'd like me some Bonemold, Netch, Cithin and Nordic Fur armours too.

Only due to the note making little sense - how did the writer know that ALL other Telvanni were dead? And what to make of that student in Winterhold whose name suggest a connection with the magelords?

And even if it was true, te note says about the last living heir, whom we meet in the game...

Also, who cares about indoril armor? Give me the Telvanni helms!

No reason the Armors could not be in perfect shape and intact. They were imbued with the power of a goddess after all AND enchanted. They also would be something of cultural value to most of the Dunmer and especially the old Tribunal Temple. Lots of Dunmer would still be alive from those times so it would not be outlandish to find that armor laying about somewhere. Bonemold would also be a staple armor type that many of the Red Year survivors would have likely brought with them to survive the Journey from Morrowind to Skyrim.

I would really love to see this armor make a new appearance.

I'd love this as well, and even more, I'd love them to be integrated in a questline. It could be about a close and secret group of Dunmers whose ancestors were Ordinators (and who have passed on their armors through generations since the destruction of Dunmer-Morrowind). It could be about them wanting revenge on the Argonians, and grandly aiming at taking Morrowind back into Dunmer hands.

Such armors and such a quest would be superb I think.
