Mod Request.

I was thinking...

I have two mod requests actually.

I was wondering if someone could do some serious modding.

See, what I request is that a "Dark Orb" could be created by using the Reanimate dead spell, but instead of bringing things back to life, it harms living things and explodes (depending on the level of the spell, the explosion will be bigger or smaller). And of course over charging the spell makes it stronger.

2nd mod.

A Dark Magic Skill Tree!

A Skill Tree that enhances all the Dark Magic that you cast. (Should anyone decide to make more ideas in that extent.)

PS: I was going to request a mod to where if you press both attack buttons (Unarmed) That you'd do a grapple (Kill animation) And it would harm them as if they were hit by three power attacks.

But that seems impossible to me...

Have you ever played Nox? You sound like you want to be Hecuba. I think this is a cool idea.

I'm not sure who or what that game is, but I pretty much got this from Dracula from Castlevania.

Is it even possible to add in new trees? Not sure I have seen a mod that does that yet. I have seen mods that alter existing trees.. but no flat out new trees. (Perhaps with the dawnguard dlc we will have that option?)

Personally, instead of going the spell/tree route, I'd go for an enchanted artifact. A "dark orb". Two routes I can see going for it, one is an actual misc item that you throw on the ground, where upon it checks for dead creatures, and reanimates them. Think of throwing a cursed item down on the ground before a fight, and that item pulsing out waves that reanimate fallen creatures near it. (In theory this should be possible, one might have to get creative with some scripting though)

second, being a retextured staff that is orb like, that does the same thing as say, that standing stone that resurects all dead creatures near you.

Upon further reading I notice you simply want a dmg spell. Something that like negative energy blast in dnd (undead being actually healed by such dmg). But I couldnt help but mention my idea when I heard dark orb and resurect together

edit: Figure I'd mention, that the throw on the ground orb or staff approach would be easy to balance, one could simply make the undead hostile to everyone, including the caster. I think it'd actually be the first cursed artifact for skyrim :P

I swear to god if this does a double quote...

Yeah I pretty much want a damage spell.

But I want it to look all evil and stuff! Something for a Dark Mage, know what I'm saying?

And from what I've seen there is a extra Skill tree (Not telling, I don't wanna spoil it) that we get for doing something.

It might be possible, depends on the normal undead flee spells are coded(Dont have the construction up atm). If its just a check box in the kit, it becomes more complicated. If there is a script attached to the spell that checks the target if its dead or not, before applying fear.. its much easier, a few cut and paste lines and you have an easy to make anti-living spell.

However, in my experience things never tend to be simple, so its probably a simple check box in the kit. So you might need to go over to the skse folks and see if they have any plans on adding in an ability to see if your target is live or undead.
