I didn't think many people used the Bethesda forums, but I see that quite a few do in fact, so I've decided to bring over some of my most popular and useful threads for the users here, however I don't use this forum much at all so my replies may be more distance than on my regular forums.

Here I spent a bit of time (many hours) looking through Fallout Nexus for possible useable modders resources.

Hello Reader,
I've complied and gathered many resources for modding purposes, There are resources from both Fallout 3 and New Vegas, however most resources can work interchangable which means that a resource often can be used for either game.

If by chance you know of a well-made modders resource that is not listed here then please post it for the community if ya don't mind.

Also make sure to credit everyones resources should you incorporate them into your mods, and try to at least skim the mods descriptions as I sometimes make mistakes and include mods that require author permission.

Now that all of that is out of the way, please continue and make wonderful mods for everyone to play.

Hello ! I don't know if that would help you, but the Creature Resources and Mods, made by CIB in the Nexus, really looks badass and close enough to be a replacement for the famous MMM mods from Fallout 3.

Anyways This may be pointless since modelers can make things without help, but I originally posted this in segments so I decided to organize it for ease of acess to you the readers.

You have to do modelling on em like subdividing and deforming them to make the shape u want and then you can just go and bake an ao map for it cause its on separate uv islands.

I hope it helpfully demonstrates a good way to give a frayed end to the rope also.

That is, add some black to the alpha channel for the frayed part. Then have 2 subdivisions near the end, select the end edge loop and scale it with proportional editing on.
Duplicate it 3 times and selecting the edge loop move each one along normal x and y a little ways in opposite directions.

Mainly I'm trying to find sites with free resources or simple resources like models of random objects that'd fit in with Fallout, things like retro TVs, Radios, "Retro Sci Fi" like models of 50's Robots or aliens.

Alright everyone I've just pulled a few resources from Oblivion that SEEM seperate from Oblivion itself, by that I mean that the meshes and textures should be completely user-made and thus not actually require any piece of Oblivon and could be used here in either New Vegas Or Fallout 3.

However Should you find any mistakes like oblivion meshes/textures please message or post asap so I can remove it.

containers, furniture, etc. These resources are gory, fleshy, bloody, and distrubing...

Alright I think I've gotten about 99% of this thread transfered, I'm sure I'm missing some between 3-5 small resources that I'll edit in later when I'm fine-tuning my threads.

Hello every I've just added in updates to the resource list, as well as more photos on the Creature Resource post.

Another update today, mainly Fallout 3 resources that I missed before, 2 weapons and a few new additions under random items.
